Mel and He11ix land

Wrathe shudders. ..Oh, yea.

Wrathe turns to Fauna. "His body's in your room."

"But you said it was an illusion...?"

"..Well... It's still there, so we should get rid of it anyways, right?"

"I guess..."

Fauna teleports herself to her room, leaving the confused Wrathe behind. She picks up He11ix's body, jumps out of a hole in the wall, and lands on her feet. Fauna sets his body down and then lunges into the air. Her bracelet turns into a nuke beam, one big barrel. She shoots the beam down at He11ix's body and then drops back down. The bracelet returns to it's original shape. He11ix's body doesn't exist anymore; it has been blown to nothingness. Fauna crumples to her knees and clenches the white bell around her tail in her hand. Wrathe appears in front of her.

"...Did that do anything?" Fauna asks, not even bothering to look up.

"We'll see..."

He11ix and Hollix slowly appear in front of them.

He11ix: Thanks, I was getting rather tired of waiting.

Fauna freezes and stares directly at He11ix's face for a long while. She then sighs and looks down, frowning.

"What?" Wrathe rounds Hollix and He11ix and stands in front of Fauna.

"He's not real.." she whispers. "An illusion, a dummy.. Whatever he is, I can't get my hopes up. I've already suffered too much." Fauna turns and walks back to her house. Wrathe stares after her and then slowly turns to the two. He grabs Hollix by the shoulders and shakes him violently.

"Why wasn't he real the FIRST time?!" he shouts, almost screaming, in Hollix's face. Wrathe's eyes are tinted red. He turns to He11ix. "Please, do something. You, of all people, can make her believe that it's actually you." Wrathe turns back to Hollix. "He'd better be real." He takes a step back and presses a button on his watch. The watch turns into a nuke beam. Wrathe glares at Hollix for a moment and then shakes his head slowly. He turns back to He11ix. "Hurry.."

Meanwhile, Fauna sits up in her room with the bell in her hands.

If I destroy this one, I'm dead... Fauna looks up at the black halo above her head.

He11ix walks up to Fauna. "I know that you think I'm fake. But I can assure you that I AM real. And to prove it, I will have Hollix explain how time travel can explain that." Hollix walks up. "Well, you see,"

10... long... painfully boring hours later...

"To sum all that up, basically, I came in before he was squashed by the boulder and took him to the future. At some point, I must take him back to get squashed." Fauna is asleep. "...no matter what, even if I give a lecture to an insomniac, they are all bored so much that they're knocked out for hours..."

Fauna opens one eye and looks at Hollix. "First of all, I don't even know what an insomniac is... and second of all, anybody would be bored after that. But..." Fauna looks at He11ix. "I believe you now." She stands up and looks at them both now. "I really don't know what to say now... Thank you, I guess." Fauna walks past them both and downstairs. She collapses on the couch in her living room and rolls the bell around in her hands still, staring at the wall. Wrathe sits against the back of the couch without her knowing it and watches through her eyes. He feels her feelings and hears her thoughts; Wrathe bites his lip at these thoughts and glances upstairs at her room where the two still are.

Fauna?

Huh?

I know that you still don't believe them... But He11ix is real. There's no need for suicide.

But how can you prove it..? I've suffered too many times for him... I don't want to suffer anymore.

Fauna, I've lived for billions of years. I would know if He11ix is real. He is.

...Okay.

You still don't believe me.

I know, jeeze. It's just... hard to trust anybody anymore. After all that has happened.

You can always trust me, though, and I know that He11ix is alive. He's really alive this time. Not a dummy, not a robot, not an illusion, but a real, living thing.

..But..How do you know for sure?

Well, he has feelings, I know that. Emotions. And he has body heat. His voice doesn't sound the least bit robotic or ghostly. It sounds pure, actually. And his eyes aren't blank.

What feelings? What emotions?

...Well, he's slightly irritated with you at the moment. You don't believe him; or anybody, for that matter.

...Aww, fuck.. Fine, I believe you.

...No you don't...

...Ehhhh.. Fauna clenches the bell tightly. It becomes dented with a small crack in it. Fauna is instantly thrown into the air, through the roof. Once out in the open, black lightning zaps her. Her body is engulfed in flames and thrown to the ground. Fauna winces in pain and holds the bell still in her hands.

WHAT DID YOU DO?!?

...Hehh...

God damn it, Fauna!!

...Aww, crap...

What? Wrathe bolts outside in time to see Fauna writhing and twisting on the ground. "SHIT!!" Wrathe screams and creates a force field around Fauna. Her body is blackish from the fire and lightning and is steaming. Bruises and scratches cover her arms and tear through her clothes. Huge amounts of force pound against the force field uselessly. He11ix and Hollix walk through the front door and stand by Wrathe with a questioning look on their face.

Hollix shrugs. "I've seen worse." He walks off. He11ix turns to follow him, looking back at Fauna on the way out.

Meanwhile, the hand keeps dragging itself until it reaches Zander's old Hyper Cannon lab...

Wrathe turns towards the two and makes a small snarling sound, which ends up being a BIG snarling sound.

"This is your fault," Wrathe calls to them angrily. He continues to hold up the force field, knowing that he can get no healing magic through it. He can only protect her from getting hurt even more for now.

Hollix turns back to him. "We did nothing bad. He died, I had to die so that he wouldn't die. Or, will die, if you will. It's not our fault we may die at some point in time."

Wrathe takes a threatening step towards Hollix, flexing his arms as if he's about to punch him in the face. He then turns to He11ix, slightly calmer.

"She's like this because of you. And you-" Wrathe turns back to Hollix, rage burning in his eyes again, "-are the same person as him." Wrathe moves his shoulder towards He11ix. He again turns to He11ix, but looks pissed off again. "You don't even care that she brought you back to life!" Wrathe sneers at them both and turns back to the force field that he'd been holding up. His watch burns slightly; it's running out of power. Force continues to pound against the shield as Fauna lies completely still inside.

"First of all, I have to remind you that I did nothing. And second, I WOULD explain that if Hollix hadn't helped Fauna, she would have never brought me back to life." e catches up with Hollix as he walks out the door.

Wrathe grinds his teeth together furiously. He gives up on the two, but shouts, "You're both useless cowards!" Wrathe strains to hold the force field up then... and his watch breaks. The field disappears instantly, and Fauna is thrown around and beaten like a rag doll. Wrathe struggles frantically to fix the watch, trying hard not to look up at Fauna.

Hollix and He11ix start walking through the forest.

He11ix: Think we should help?
Hollix: Nope. She can't die yet. You and I both know how she dies.
He11ix: True. I wouldn't help Wrathe with anything, anyway.
Hollix: I wonder when things took a turn for the worse with him.
He11ix: Who knows.

The skeleton hand leaps across the keyboard in the lab for the portal generator. A bunch of wires and coils have been added...

The two hear a screaming, hissing, snarling sound. The sound was clear enough for them to know that it was, in fact, Wrathe. His found booms in both of their heads.

She can't die yet?! Well guess what? You were WRONG.

The snarling cry continues to go on for a while. The forest is then silent and somehow has a feeling of depression hanging over it. Something strange happens then: Fauna's voice echoes in He11ix's head.

So... I'm curious. How was I supposed to die?

He11ix: Please, it's bad enough that we know how we die. It's not something a person is comfortable knowing... wait a sec... so does this mean Wrathe is going insane and delusional? He says you're dead.

The hand leaps onto the enter key, and the portal activates. The portal looks like the ones Hollix uses to go through time. A strange skeleton like figure steps out of the portal. The hand jumps and reattaches itself to the figure's arm. He starts walking around the room, with his steel bones clanking against the floor. He uses his full robotic arm to hack into the emergency power source, and turns on the lights.

Zander, the technolich, has returned.

Wrathe's voice comes weakly through He11ix's mind before Fauna can respond.

Hey, your good half human, half robotic buddy has returned.

Zander?!

..Fauna?!

He11ix now has TWO voices in his head. Teehee.

He11ix bangs his head against a tree.

Great, what next.

Fauna, I'm sure you would like an explination. All in good time, I suppose.

He11ix hits his head so hard, he falls unconsious. With no mind to occupy, the voices in his head cease. HORRAY!

Hollix stands up and looks at He11ix, on the ground. He taps into Wrathe's mind.

Wrathe, we're talking in your head now.

Now then, I will have you know that I have unlocked the "secret weapon" I was working on ever so long ago. Or, a while ago for Wrathe and Fauna. Once it is finished, I will bring it into the future with me and destroy the world. If you wish to stop me, come to the location of where the Hyper Cannon once stood. Good day, all. *insidious cackling*

That monster... Wrathe, come on. You heard where he was.

A girl comes from behind the tree that He11ix hit his head on. She looks down at the unconscious body, flinches, and looks up at Hollix, flinching again. She simply stands there, frozen, and glances at the two.

@ Hollix: You're an idiot. I can hear everybody's thoughts... No need to whisper or think anything to youself. And anyways, how could I even have a future if I was going to kill myself?

..Touching as that is, I think you should stay with somebody... I'm not saying that you should help Hollix. I'm saying that you should... Well, talk to that girl standing by the tree where He11ix is passed out and see what she wants.

Huh? Wrathe teleports to Hollix and sees the girl. ...But what if she eats me?

Wrathe bites his lip and blocks Fauna's voice from his head. Before he can say anything, the girl looks at Hollix, and back at He11ix.

"Did you kill him?" she asks in a shaky yet silky-sounding voice.

Hollix turns to the girl. "Yes, yes he did. The big scary robot man with the watch killed him. Now I have to go take the body of my friend to his funeral." Hollix drags He11ix away.
