OoC: o_O Okies.

BiC: "How long will he be gone?" Fauna asks Wrathe before he says anything.

"I have no idea. And I sure as hell don't know why he went so suddenly. Especially right after you said you trusted him."

"...Kinda pisses me off," Fauna mumbles, looking away. Wrathe climbs up the tree and sits next to them so that it's him, Fauna, and Wolke.

"Don't be mad 'bout it. I'm sure he had his reasons, right?"

Fauna considers it, then nods once, slowly. "I guess."

Nyx walks out of the inn and stands by Shifty. "What are you thinking about?" he asks, crossing his arms over his chest and looking right into the sun.

Shifty looks at Nyx "nothin" he mumbles looking at the sky

Nyx walks forward a little so that he can see his face. "I don't believe you," he murmurs. "It's nearly impossible to think of absolutely nothing, and you're not the type that would attempt that. So. What are you really thinking about?" He searches his face, trying to figure out if he'll tell him or not.

Shifty looks up at Nyx he pauses for a second "Just wondering why he left so fast"

Tomahawk looks at the ground below passing by quickly

Nyx nods slowly. "I think that's what everybody is wondering right now." He looks into the forest, lingers there, then looks back at Shifty. "Why do you think he did?" he asks. His voice sounds strangely soft.

Shifty nods "maybe, he just wanted to go away for a while"

Nyx crosses his arms across his chest again, looking at Shifty strangely. "You think? Just after Fauna finally decided that she trusted him? I don't think he'd want to leave that. Let alone, leave her for war... Why do you think he only said goodbye to you?" he asks, thinking about the last question more than the one he'd just asked.

Shifty looks at Nyx and shrugs disappearing

Nyx sighs and closes his eyes, looking at Fauna, Wrathe, and Wolke when he opens them again. They look like they're talking, but Fauna suddenly stops and looks back at Nyx while Wrathe and Wolke continue. Nyx and Fauna lock eyes for a few seconds before Fauna blinks and looks away, at Wolke. Nyx frowns, biting his lip and walking back into the inn, knowing that she hates him by now.

"Fauna?" Wrathe asks, poking her shoulder. "What's up?"

"I thought I saw something," she mutters, shaking her head. "Anyways.." They continue talking, but Fauna eyes the inn carefully, wondering what Shifty and Nyx were talking about.

Shifty appears up in his room looking at the ceeling his door is locked

Nyx walks up the stairs of the inn and stops in front of Shifty's door, pausing to listen. He hears nothing, and tries to read his mind, though he knows he's a vampire and this'll be hard.

Shifty looks around and unlocks the door and looks down at Nyx "what do you want?"

Nyx's eyes widen. "..N-nothing," he says quickly, stalking off down the hall and walking into a room, closing the door locking it behind him. He slumps against the door, burying his face in his hands.

Shifty closes the door smiling he sits back down on his bed

Nyx peeks through his fingers and sees a window. He smiles faintly and stands up, looking through it. He looks around and finally finds the tree that Fauna's in.

I know Wrathe loves her... Damnit. Now I'm competing with two other guys.. And she already hates me. He sighs and closes his eyes, leaning against the wall and letting his head go back, resting against the wall as well. ...It's nearly impossible to win her back now. Especially after she knows I'm always watching her..

Fauna goes slightly rigid and looks around without moving her head. She knows something's watching her, but can't find out where it's from. ...Must be Nyx... she thinks to herself. ...Why is it so hard to hate him after all of this? Maybe because we grew up together... And he.. cried.. She zones out slightly, then shakes her head a little and looks at her hands, thinking. Wrathe notices, but knows she hates it when he asks if she's okay.

Tomahawk gets off the helicopter already shooting people

Shifty looks out the window

Nyx looks at the wall. I wonder if Shifty can hear me from there... His eyes widen. ..Did he hear all of that about Fauna..? he asks himself, suddenly in panic. He calms, though, guessing that his mind-reading skills are still very low.

Nyx hears a knock on the door

Nyx goes rigid and stares at the door. He slowly stands up and opens it, halfway hiding behind the door so he won't see who it is, and hopefully they won't see him.

Shifty looks behind the door "your crushing on Fauna?" he laughs

Nyx glares at him. "I have been since we were both born in the same year," he growls. "What's so amusing about it? And why are you eavesdropping..?"

Shifty raises an eyebrow "Look who's talking" he looks at Nyx and walks into his room

Nyx follows him. "What's that supposed to mean?" he asks, looking at him suspiciously.

Shifty turns around quickly "you were eavesdropping also"

Nyx crosses his arms over his chest. "On who?" he asks.
