Shifty appears in front of Fauna with blood on his hands he's quivering

Fauna jumps and stares at him. Her eyes turn a crimson red, and she starts backing away slowly. "Sh-shifty... What..?" she whispers. She wants to know what happened, but the sight of blood is just begging her to bite him. That's a vampire for ya.

Shifty reveals the head of a bear he's holding it in his hand

Fauna stares at him. "How.. Why..?" she whispers, stepping cautiously toward him.

Shifty trembles "he attacked me" he drops his gun "and I shot him"

Fauna rests her hands on his shoulders and quivers slightly, trying to resist the urge. "It was self defense... You did what you had to do... You're fine, o-okay?" she whispers.

Shifty continues shaking

Fauna takes a deep breath. "Shifty..." she murmurs, hugging him. She manages to get her vampire issues under control. "...What's wrong? Why are you still trembling..?"

"I killed it" he mummers "I've never killed anything before I'm not a hunter I'm the hunted"

"It was self defense," Fauna repeats in his ear. "You did nothing wrong."

"I killed a defenseless animal"

Fauna pulls back slightly. In the sky, dark clouds start forming and rain comes pouring down. "You said it attacked you," Fauna murmurs. "Don't worry, Shifty, you're fine."

"he did attack me" he turns around and show's her the giant gashes in his back with blood flowing out of them

Fauna's eyes widen, and she steps back again. She squeezes her eyes shut and gasps lightly. "Y-you were only protecting yourself... You didn't d-do anything wrong," she heaves. "Will you be okay? Or should I try to find Wolke to heal you?" she asks quietly.

"I think I'll be fine" blood still gushing out of the wounds

Tomahawk "weres Fauna?" he looks at wrathe

Fauna gives him a doubtful look. "I.. Shifty.." Her voice sounds strained and worried. "You're bleeding like crazy. Let me at least try to heal you."

Wrathe is quiet for a moment, still watching the sky. He snaps out of his trance and looks at Tomahawk. "Huh? Fauna?" he asks, then turns around and scans the trees for her. "..Where is Fauna?" he mutters, trying to catch her scent now.

shifty looks at her

Tomahawk looks through the trees and looks at Wrathe "I think they went that way" he points in the direction of Shifty and Fauna

Wrathe nods and yanks at his shirt sleeve, walking in the direction he said.

Fauna looks back at Shifty. "Are you okay?" she asks quietly.

Shifty's eyes start to roll back in his head and he starts to pass out from blood loss

Tomahawk follows Wrathe

"No!" Fauna lays him on the ground gently and rolls him over onto his stomach, struggling to heal the wounds. She doesn't have her bells, so she hardly does anything. "Shifty!!" she yelps, holding his head up frantically.

Wrathe looks around. "Did you hear something?" he asks.

"yeah" tomahawk answers

Shifty lay still in the grass not moving blood still gushing out

Wrathe nods and moves on, towards the noise.

Fauna gasps and glances around desperately. She eventually looks back down at Shifty again, crying. "..I'm so sorry," she whispers, putting her mouth over a wound on his back. She closes them all up and injects venom into him at the same time, making him a vampire now. This way he won't die, and he's immortal. Once she's done, she buries her face in his shoulder and sobs.

Wrathe and Tomahawk both appear in the clearing then. Wrathe just stares with his mouth open, then glaces at Tomahawk with a shocked look on his face.

Tomahawk gasps "WHAT DID YOU DO" he screams

Shifty wakes up and looks around his teeth have changed "what happened to my teeth" he looks curiously at everyone

Fauna's eyes show that she's being mentally tormented, and she curls up and lets out a soft sob. Wrathe stares at her, surprised, and then steps over and tries to touch her.

"Stay away!" she yelps, recoiling away from Wrathe.

"What..?" he asks, glancing at Tomahawk.

"I'm so sorry, Shifty," she moans, hiding her face. "I had to... To save your life... I just had to.. Please forgive me," she whispers, trembling violently.

(since shiftys a vampire does that mean that part of Fauna is now in him?)

Shifty looks up "this is cool" he smiles
