Fauna hadn't heard him, although he was yelling. "...O-okay," she whispers. Her voice comes out as a whisper now, since she's getting so much worse. She passes out again..

Fauna dies... Her heart stops beating.

Just as her heart gives its last beat, Wrathe bolts out of the forest and dives at her. "NO! Fauna! No! Shit! Damn it, Fauna, no!!" he screams, crying into her shoulder. "I can't... believe she's gone..." he whispers. "Meiko..?" he whispers.

Nothing happens.

"Noo..." he moans. "Meiko, please... You revived her once, please... Just once more..."

A little orb of light circles around Fauna's head. Wrathe stares at it hopefully, but nothing happens.

Tomahawk and Shifty break into sobs and fall over

Wrathe cries, too, and watches the little orb. It brightens slightly, then brightens a lot. Then it starts shaking, like it's having a little spaz attack. A burst of light comes from it, and when it's gone, Meiko's standing there.

"Meiko!!" Wrathe cries out. "Oh my God, Meiko!!"

Meiko stares at him, confused. "I'm alive?" she asks, looking at her hands. She looks at Fauna and gasps. "Is she alive?"

Wrathe shakes his head. "No, she's not, she's not okay, she's not alive, Meiko... Revive her, damn it, please, Meiko, do something!"

Meiko stares at him. "Okay, alright," she murmurs, smiling. She's amused at his desperateness. Meiko kneels down by Fauna and puts her hand over her forehead. White light moves down Meiko's arm and into Fauna's soul. "Any time now..." Meiko says, smiling.

"...Nng..." Fauna groans. "My head... hurts.."

Wrathe lets out a choked cry of joy and picks Fauna up, shaking her like a mad man. "Fauna!!" he shouts.

Fauna stares at him with wide eyes. "..What?" she asks, confused.

"Heh!" Wrathe sets her on her feet-she falls backwards and lands on the ground-and hugs Meiko. They celebrate for a moment, then Wrathe explains everything to her as they walk towards the inn.

Fauna holds her head and sits up. "...Ow.." she moans, closing her eyes.

Fauna's eyes widen, and she curls in a little ball, shielding herself. "Ahh.." she groans, holding her head now. She hasn't taken the time to look up and see who they were yet.

Shifty looks at Wrathe "So how did.... but .........She was........HOW?"

Fauna's eyes widen as she recognizes Tomahawk's voice. "Tomahawk!!" she yelps, hugging him. "What the hell happened..? I don't remember anything at all... I just know that I made you mad... I'm sorry.." Fauna's voice trails off, and she turns her head to cough up some blood.

Fauna shakes her head and coughs up more blood, then wipes it on her sleeve and sighs. "I'm in really bad shape right now.." she murmurs, looking at him now. "Will you tell me everything? This all makes no sense to me..." She glances down at his arms around her, then turns her head and coughs up a little more blood.

Tomahawk looks at her "Your in no shape to be told a story out here, Shifty get her up in a bedroom" he looks over at shifty then back at Fauna "we need to talk privately"

Fauna raises an eyebrow at him, then coughs up a tad bit more blood. "I should... probably not be talking right now, I guess," she mutters. "I probably can't even stand up," she sighs. "What the hell happened to me..?"

Fauna sighs and looks at her left leg. "What the fuck..?" she mutters. It's not broken anymore, but badly bruised and swollen. "Damn it, I'm way too curious for my own good," she mutters.

He gets her to a room and puts her on the bed he pulls up a chair and starts telling her what happened
